Shakotah Billie is a graduating Senior at Spanish Fork High School. Shakotah is Navajo and Caucasian. She is the daughter of Monty and Natalie Billie. Her friends and family describe her as funny, sweet, athletic and easy to talk to.

She loves to play soccer and has played since she was five years old. She has been a keeper, wing, holding mid, attacking mid and forward. The best compliment she ever received was from a coach she was guest playing for, and he said, “You can play for me any time. I love how coachable you are.” This past year, she received the “Spirit of the Don” award from her High School soccer coach.

Shakotah has been a part of Nebo Title VI Indian Education performing arts group and has performed all over Utah for all kinds of people. She loves sharing her culture with everyone. She has learned to speak, sing, and perform in front of large groups of people without getting nervous.

Shakotah's favorite quote is, “Patience is when you’re supposed to get mad, but you choose to understand." She loves the colors purple and black. Her favorite TV show is Grey's Anatomy. Shakotah plans on attending UVU Fall of 2018.

The Nebo Title VI program is extremely proud of Shakotah for all her accomplishments. She is truly a wonderful example to future students in the program. We are confident that Shakotah will be successful in everything she does in the future. Congratulations, Shakotah!
