In partnership with Alpine, Nebo, and Provo School Districts, every summer the School Community University Partnership (SCUP) department at Utah Valley University runs a Pre-Freshmen Engineering Program known as UVU PREP.
The program is a free six-week summer program which challenges high-achieving incoming 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students who have shown an interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). UVU PREP is built around a challenging academic curriculum that exposes students to advanced concepts in math and science.
