On November 16, 2017, our Nebo Title VI Performing Arts were invited to perform at the Utah Diné Bikéyah's 1st Annual Indigenous Dinner. Our students did an excellent job performing at this event. They were fearless and composed as they performed.

The audience was absolutely delighted to see our students singing and dancing to songs in Navajo on their own. Our students performed a Navajo Basket Song, the Navajo Puppy Song, Children of Many Color, and there was a demonstration of traditional Navajo activities.

We are so proud of our Performing Arts group. It takes a lot of courage to perform to an audience full of adults. Many in audience pulled us aside and told us how wonderful the performance was, and how they enjoyed it. Many commented on how they were surprised our students could sing in Navajo, which was very neat for us to hear.
