Parents and Guardians,
We are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting a Student Leadership Conference for ALL American Indian students (6th-12th grade) in our school district. This event is scheduled to take place on May 1, 2024, at the Summit Center.
Our program hosted a Native American Fashion Show this past Monday. The primary goal of this event was to educate our community about the rich culture of Native Americans.
Numerous participants participated in the showcase, presenting a blend of traditional pow-wow regalia and contemporary fashion. Each participant shared a personalized clothing description with the cultural significance of each clothing item and accessory. Their confidence and heartfelt sharing of their culture added a beautiful touch to the event.
