Student Leadership Conference March 19, 2020 (This event has been canceled)

Updated 3.12.20- Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and concern for all our Nebo School District students and their families we have canceled this event. Thank you for your understanding! 
 
What is it?
There are two components to this conference. There is an awards recognition component which allows students to receive an award in various areas such as academics, service-learning, performing arts, attendance, etc. There is also an educational component that includes break out sessions where students can interact with medical, technical, and mental health professionals.

What age is this event targeted towards?
This event is intended for students in 7th-12th grade. Only 9th-12th grade students will be recognized at this event. However, 7th and 8th graders will receive their award in May at Nebo Title VI Awards night and are welcome to attend this event as well. 
 
How is my child nominated for an award?
Title VI Representative will meet with your student during our monthly Native Club at their school to nominate your student for an award. Parents, Guardians, Counselors, and Teachers are encouraged to nominate students as well. Students can be nominated for multiple categories. If you would like to nominate your students for an award please do so by filling a nomination form. Lunch will be provided for the students who participate. Transportation will be available for students who would like to attend. This event is made possible by a partnership with Utah State Board of Education Title VI.
