Giving Thanks: Telling more complete Narratives in your classroom
This online teacher workshop was hosted by the museum’s education department and delivered live to more than 700 teachers. Learn inquiry strategies for primary and secondary sources, explore Native perspectives, and examine how popular historical and contemporary images of Native people have informed our understanding of the Thanksgiving holiday. The museum’s Native Knowledge 360° (NK360°) online education portal provides resources that will help you teach more complete narratives about Native people in November and year-round.
