Da'neest'รก Celebration

In partnership with the Thanksgiving Point, our program was able to host an event called Da'neest'a Celebration. We were able to use this event as an opportunity to share indigenous teachings, history, customs, and practices. We spend our Saturday introducing our patrons to our Spiral Garden.ย

September 18th from 11 am - 3 pmย 

Daโ€™neestโ€™ร  is the period of the year in which we currently are and it means โ€œRipening of Produceโ€ in Dinรฉ (or Navajo). Visit Farm Country on September 18th to learn more about Indigenous contributions to harvest time, and more.ย
